PTE Programs & Fundraising:

The PTE carries out its mission statement by providing our school with funds, programs, resources and services through the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and generously supportive community. Each year the PTE organizes the following events/programs, which not only help support our school but also provides a great venue where students can spend time with family and friends: Back to School Bash, School Skates, Movie Night, After School Enrichment, Fun Night, and Fun Run.

Past Accomplishments:

During the summer of 2009, the PTE installed new playground equipment and surfacing valued at over $60,000. In the past five years, the PTE has also provided over $10,000 for library books. 2014 projects included a new soccer field, soccer goals and baseball backstop for the playground. In addition, the PTE successfully funds class field trips, class parties, school assemblies, and fulfills many items on the teacher wish lists. Past wish list items provided have been Smart Boards, Scholastic News subscriptions, Weekly Readers, Problem Solving Journals, a Flip Video Camera, ELMOs, iPads, and many other classroom supplies. All of this is made possible by the volunteer efforts of both parents and teachers, and through the generous donations and support of local businesses and the Eagle community.
