About Us

What is the PTE and who can be a Member?

The Parents and Teachers of Eagle (PTE) is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Nebraska exclusively for educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Our members are dedicated to working collaboratively with our local community and school district to create the best possible opportunities for Eagle Elementary students by providing Eagle Elementary with funds, programs and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child.

Becoming a member does not mean you automatically sign up to volunteer, it just means you support our group and believe in what we are doing. Any parent or guardian or other person standing “in loco parentis” of a child attending Eagle Elementary and all staff members or retired staff members of Eagle Elementary are eligible for membership. There is no membership fee. Becoming a member is easy! Just complete an application for membership by providing four pieces of contact information:
Name, Address, Phone Number and E-mail.

You can complete this application at any regularly scheduled PTE meeting, by contacting one of the PTE Officers or by filling out the membership form, via the Membership tab, on our website.

A voting member shall be any eligible person who has provided the PTE Officers their name, address, phone number and e-mail (if any) at least ten days prior to any vote. Membership remains in force as long as the member remains eligible and has not provided notice of resignation to the PTE Officers.

PTE Mission Statement:

Our mission is to promote the welfare of the children at Eagle Elementary School, to add to the children’s overall educational experience and to further a close relationship between the parents and teachers in the best interests of our students.
